The small chapel of Zoodochos Pigi (1825 – 1834) is a breath away before Ancient Thira, at an altitude of 190 meters and clinging like an oyster at the steep northwest and giant cliffs of the mountain that stretches towards the periphery of Kamari
This chapel belongs to the one-aisled basilicas and is said to have been built by the ascetics of the monastery of the Mesa Vounou, during the aforementioned time period.
